Tilt & Slide doors achieve a better insulation than standard sliding windows and doors. In fact our tilt and slide door provides complete compression seal for optimal air and water performance resulting in air infiltration levels as low as 0.05 (L/s.m2)
With the turn of a handle, you can tilt the sash inwards for ventilation and provide continuous fresh air while preventing children and pets from getting in or out or slide the door horizontally to let the outside world into the room. With another turn the sash slides up and outwards horizontally, not along the floor. This makes it easier to operate and eliminates wear on the seals.
The tilting and sliding mechanism and the special engineered rollers and track make it possible to tilt and slide a door leaf that is as much as 2m wide (up to 180kg), using only little a force. Tilt and slide doors are available in 2, 3 or 4 panel options with sash widths of 720mm to 2000mm and heights up to 2400mm.
It is NOT possible to rebate the bottom door frame into slabs etc as the sliding track is inside which makes the bottom door frame sit on top of the floor.
